I only met Jack once when i went to the school for a taster lesson. I was in his company for 15 minutes but even in that short space of time I knew he was a character and very helpful man. He gave me some good advice that day. I\'m sorry for he\'s gone and sure he\'ll be sadly missed.

I cannot believe that Jack has gone. Almost lost for words. I got to the age of 46 before I met Jack and in all the years before and since, I never met a finer man, nor one more deserving of the title, GENTLEMAN. Rest In Peace, Jack.

When you think of Jack, you just can\'t stop yourself smiling. A big man with a big heart and great sense of humour. I have very fond memories of working with him on the \'N\' at Bury, where I was treated to many of his \'pearls of wisdom - Jack style\'! Unfortunately, they\'ve broken the mould since Jack - more\'s the pity - and the world will be a sadder place for it too. My sincere condolences go out to his family. RIP Jack. Sue (aka Muriel!)
