\'Uncle Jack\' you always brought a smile to my face and gave the best hugs. Bog Down will never be the same. I shed a tear for you but can only smile when I think of you. xxx
Some Friends Stay Forever in our Hearts As we walk our path of life We meet people every day. Most are simple met by chance, But some are sent our way. These become the special friends Whose bond we can\'t explain~ The ones who understand us And share our joy and pain. Their love contains no boundaries, So even when we part, Their embrace still embraces us With a warmth felt in the heart. This love becomes a passagway Where even miles disappear. And so these friends God sends our way Remain forever near.

Well Jack I can still remember your first day as a newly promoted Sgt at Heywood and your 1st pearl of wisdom " Dont drop me in the **** and I wont drop you lot in it either " and you never did. There will be no more sissy green and custard runs in the traffic car anymore eh mate. I consider myself a better person for having had you as a friend for over 30 years and will miss you. Till we meet again mate.

We only knew you a short time jack but you were always at valley bike school when I was learning to ride and was such a genuinely good guy who made us laugh at blue knights meetings. Such sad news, rest in piece Jack. X

Proud to count you as one of my friends as well as a colleague. They don\'t make them like you any more, more\'s the pity. A light has gone out and the world will be a sadder place. Sleep well my friend.
