John (Jack) Cliff Atherton

It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to inform you that, after a brief illness, John Atherton known to many as Jack, passed away.

Our thoughts are with his family.

I saw Jack at Leicester only a few weeks ago, and I\'m glad we shared a laugh and a smile.

Dear Jack. We have only known each other a short while but will have fond memories. I would rather have another sleepless night listening to your nocturnal habits than have you where you are now. Take care good buddy. You will be sadly missed, not just for your humour but your willingness to help others, without question.
